Acupuncture and Oriental medicine have been used for thousands of years in the treatment of fertility issues. Treatment is aimed at reducing stress balancing the endocrine system and regulating the menstrual cycle; thereby setting the stage for successful conception.

Additionally, a recent study on the effects of acupuncture in combination with in-vitro fertilization showed that the group receiving acupuncture had almost twice the rate of successful implantation as the control group.
